At CASAS we have a permanent population of cats who will never be adopted. That’s OK. We love them and they feel that the shelter is their home. Some have been there for 5, 7, or even 9 years so CASAS truly is their home. But these wonderful cats are getting older and that means more health problems. Some of these problems, like diabetes, can be treated and others can only have the symptoms relieved. All of this means more visits to the vet, more medications, and possibly trips to specialty hospitals like Tufts in Walpole or Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in South Dennis. It is only through your support that we can continue to care for these cats in the way they deserve.
These sweet cats are at a time in their lives where a no cage and no kill shelter is the perfect final place for them, nurtured and loved, while all medical needs are provided.
For just $20 a month, you could sponsor one of these great cats. You will receive a picture and their story along with updates. You also will have the bragging rights to say “I support CASAS in a very special way”.
- Bamboozle - Boozle, or Bamboo as some of the volunteers call her, is a great cat just waiting to come out of her shell. She has learned to trust us and rewards our attentions with her loving purrs.
- Ollie, 10 years old, has the attitude of a tabby. She may come into your space but you must not come into hers!
- Tyler is 10 and has known love but has known scary times. He is a recluse who shares himself with only a few select people.
