At CASAS we have a permanent population of cats who will never be adopted. That’s OK. We love them and they feel that the shelter is their home. Some have been there for 5, 7, or even 9 years so CASAS truly is their home.
But these wonderful cats are getting older and that means more health problems. Some of these problems, like diabetes, can be treated and others can only have the symptoms relieved. All of this means more visits to the vet, more medications, and possibly trips to specialty hospitals like Tufts in Walpole or Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in South Dennis. It is only through your support that we can continue to care for these cats in the way they deserve.
These sweet cats are at a time in their lives where a no cage and no kill shelter is the perfect final place for them, nurtured and loved, while all medical needs are provided.

- Tyler Perry’s job is ongoing and never ending. He must be handsome and debonair at all times. This is not an easy task when the litter box calls or one’s butt needs attending to. Only Tyler can pull it off with style. Since he lost an eye to glaucoma, the debonair part has an added dose of mystery
- Dixie loves being where the action is--as long as the action involves petting and lots of compliments. No better place for that to happen than takng over the computer.
- Sonia is chief food inspector, especially Tyler Perry’s dry food. If the food is not up to safety standards it is promptly disposed of, by her of course.
